Join renowned master potter Duncan Ayscough for an intensive two-day workshop dedicated to refining your bowl-making skills.

With over 30 years’ experience as a potter and senior lecturer in ceramics at Cardiff Metropolitan University, Duncan brings a wealth of knowledge in wheel-throwing, precision turning, and advanced joining techniques. His work has been exhibited nationally and internationally, and he has been a Fellow of the Craft Potters Association since 1995.

What to Expect:

• Individualised instruction: Duncan will work with each participant to set tailored goals for the weekend.

• Skill development focus: This is not a production workshop but a chance to build confidence and precision at the wheel.

• Practical demonstrations of advanced throwing and turning techniques.

• The opportunity to keep your first bowl and your best bowl each day to track your progress.

• Guidance on documenting your learning journey with photos.
