Specialist Workshops

Aimed at those wanting to broaden their knowledge

Over the summer, The Pottery will be holding two, all-day specialist workshops for those who have some pottery experience:

'Glazing Basics' which will cover all the basic decorating techniques, clays, firing and glazing. Having completed this workshop you will feel more confident about both decorating techniques and attending our more advanced glazing workshop which we aim to run sometime in the autumn

'Having a Pottery Studio' which is aimed at those intending to, or interested in having their own pottery studio. This workshop will cover all the things you need to know about how a studio is run, including making your own glazes.
